New swimming pool
Jon and I ended up buying the kids a bigger pool. The little one they had got a hole in it the second day. This one is 3 1/2 ft. so they can actually swim in it a little more. It hasn't been warm enough outside for the water to get warm so the kids are purple while they are in there. It hasn't stopped them from wanting to swim. Jake got a new little turtle float that he likes to sit in and have us pull him around. So, if you come visit - don't forget your swimming clothes! Even 3 1/2 feet can cool you off!

Tea party
Aunt Jen planned a tea party for Jilian this week. Mom, Jen, Jilian and I met at a really cute Victorian Tea House in Noblesville. Jilian loved dressing up and having tea. The scones were delicious and made us feel pretty fancy. Mom bought Jilian a tea set and she is having a difficult time getting her brothers to sit down to tea. Thanks Aunt Jen!!

Our trip to Maryland/Washington DC
We had a good time on our trip. It was soo very hot the first two days but then it cooled down a bit. We spent on whole day at the museum, it took most of the day to find a parking spot for our big boat of a vehicle. The second day we went to the zoo which was really nice. We spend five hours there and ended with the panda bears. The kids enjoyed their time on the farm. They got to ride the gator, play in the creek, shoot off rockets, have a bonfire, and play restaraunt in the goat room. Elk burger anyone? They really liked playing with Cyril and seeing all of Carol's animals. Jilian attached herself to Chloe, she really needs another girl to talk to! Jon and Roger did some hay for Grandpa and he was really pleased with that. Now what about the next cutting? We were able to have dinner with Basil, Becca and Zora at Mike and Carols. We left there about 9:30 and headed back home. It was a good trip, but it is always nice to get home. I was worried my garden would be eaten up and my flowers dried up but all was fine when we got here.

Tornado weekend
We were looking forward to a weekend with Brent and Julie here. Instead a big storm and tornado went through McCordsville Friday night. We all had to go over there and help clean up. Mom and Dad were really lucky they didn't have more damage. Their neighbors lost most of their farms. The front of Eric and Sara's house and yard were really torn up too. We are thankful no one was hurt! We did enjoy Sunday here with everyone. We sat in the sun and relaxed!
