The kids were happy to make our annual trip to Swan's. Can't have fall w/o one trip there.

Thankfully I didn't see my kids in the scoop of the tractor, I would have been a bit worried.

Beans, cornbread, buffalo stew and burgers...yum. The kids loved their new swords and beautiul parisol.

We checked out the Mini golf place in Lafayette.
The kids had a good time but I think they like lunch at Igloo more than putt putt.
Tree/Door frog
This frog stayed on the window of our front door for two days. It was really cute. I think it was trying to ring the doorbell.
Even Junie and Jeffy participated in this camping trip. They both slept in the tent all night.
Jilian LOVES camping. I can see her backpacking like her dad and grandparents pretty soon.
Jake is a true Hoversland...He doesn't care that the smoke is blowing right in his face.

Ths is perfect! You can have a real bathroom and it's easy to run in the house and get what you forgot!

We stayed in Louisville and the kids got to practice their skills from swimming lessons.

It was 94 degrees outside. Imagine what it smelled like on that bus w/ 75 hot people.
This is called the "frozen niagra". It was amazing!
More tites and mites. Jackson really liked to look at the cave bacon. It looks just like bacon!
When the stalagtite and stalagmite meets it is called a column.
We saw some beautiful stalagtites and stalagmites.
It takes hundrends and hundreds of years to make one of these. Just from a drop of water!
Down we go, into the unknown...
When the lights were off it was a creepy kind of darkness and it was 50 degrees.

We were disappointed we didn't see any bats.
This is a natural entrance to a cave.
It was freezing inside this cave, most of the caves have man made entrances but this was is not.

We had a lot of fun touring the cave. It was beautiful inside!
Jude just wanted to get those dino skeletons off and play with them.
